With the LA Wallet app, you can pay your full outstanding reinstatement fees and reinstate your license for flags if it's eligible for payment through the app. Just hit Tap to View on the Home tab to show your license, then tap the Outstanding Fees banner above the license status banner to get started and view the amount of fees that you owe to the Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV).

If you don’t see the Outstanding Fees banner, you won’t be able to pay your fees or reinstate your license via LA Wallet and will need to contact the OMV directly.

For reinstatement payment and installment plans, reach out to the OMV at (225) 925-6146 and select option 3. 

• Visit https://offices.omv.la.gov/ to find Public Tag Agents who handle installment plans by searching for Installments under Search by Office Service.
• User cannot add and update debit or credit card information is not a feature of the LA Wallet app. If you have a reinstatement payment/installment plan set up with the OMV, you will need to contact them directly to update any banking information.

NOTICE: This information does not pertain to the payment of the road usage fee for electric or hybrid vehicles. For question regarding the fee, please contact the OMV directly. To pay the fee, you can use the OMV's Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Fee Payment Portal at expresslane.la.gov/omv/online-services.
