To check your license/ID renewal eligibility via the LA Wallet app:
- You will be prompted to renew your license/ID on the Home tab.
Or tap the Menu tab in the bottom menu and you will see the Renew Physical License/ID option under Louisiana State Services.
If you do not see either options, your credential is ineligible for online renewal through the LA Wallet app.
If you're ineligible, you will need to visit an OMV location in person for your renewal. Renewal eligibility comes directly from the OMV's system and cannot be changed. Their open locations are listed here: https://offices.omv.la.gov for any further assistance.
