IMPORTANT: The LA Wallet app is available only on compatible smartphones and tablets. It can't be installed on computers, and there’s no website to view your license/ID or other cards since LA Wallet is app-only. The LA Wallet app does not use phone numbers for user accounts, only email addresses.
Your license and account are linked to an email address. To log back into your account, you will need to log in using the same email and password you used to create your account. If you’re unsure of your password, please use the Forgot password? option. Additionally, if you are logging in from a new device, an activation code will be sent to the account's email address so you can verify yourself.
- We suggest using a secondary device (PC, tablet, another phone) to access the activation/verification code email. This way you can keep the LA Wallet activation/verification code entry screen pulled up on your phone and not have to exit out of it in order to get the code which can sometimes cause problems.

If you can't log in, create a new account with your new email then attempt to add your license/ID to it. A pop up message will confirm your license or ID is already linked to an account. Tap the Start Verification button under the message to start the verification and unlinking process. Once you are verified, your license/ID will be linked to your new account.
