To create a new LA Wallet account:
- Tap CREATE AN ACCOUNT on the LA Wallet app opening page and accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Enter your email and set a password, then tap the yellow Create an Account button.
- Enter the activation code sent to your email.
- We recommend using a second device (PC, tablet, or phone) to access the email so you don’t have to exit the code entry screen on your phone.
- Create a 4-digit PIN to access your account.
- To add your license or state ID, tap Add License on the home screen.
- Tap Scan License Barcode (top right) to scan the barcode on the back of your license/ID for verification.
- Do not use the Scan tab on the bottom menu; it only verifies the license/ID and does not add it to your account.
Note: LA Wallet only works with the most current, valid driver’s license or state ID. If you have renewed or purchased a duplicate, use the new audit number provided.
