The OMV's automated system determines your online renewal eligibility. If you receive a renewal notice by mail, you can usually renew online by selecting one option. With email notifications enabled in the LA Wallet app, you'll get reminders 30 days, 7 days, and on the expiration day.

If you're ineligible for LA Wallet renewal, you must renew in person at an OMV location. Online eligibility is final and cannot be changed.
