How to check your LDWF license status

The fastest way to confirm whether your LDWF license(s) is expired is to connect your LDWF licenses to the LA Wallet app (Louisiana residents onlly). Once connected, your current active or recently expired licenses (expired less than 30 days), including their expiration dates, will be displayed under your license information in the app for easy reference.

Alternatively, review the license details on your LDWF account.

1. Navigate to LouisianaOutdoors.com.
2. Select the View Purchased button under Licenses & Permits.
3. Sign in to your account as an existing customer.
4. Make sure Show Active is selected for License Year on the right hand side of the Your Active Licenses & Permits page.
   • If you want to find out which license(s) you previously purchased, select the previous year instead of Show Active.
5. All active licenses will be listed with their individual Valid from date listed. The Your Active Licenses & Permits page will be blank if there are no active licenses. 
   • The license(s) remains valid through the specified date, meaning it is effective until 11:59 PM on the listed expiration date.
