Here are the steps to connect your LDWF licenses to LA Wallet.
- Download the latest version of LA Wallet from the app store and make sure your Louisiana driver’s license or State ID is linked to your LA Wallet account.
- Tap the green LDWF Licenses card on the LA Wallet Home tab then tap the Connect LDWF Account button. When it is found, tap Yes to connect it and view your licenses and permits.
- Hunting and fishing licenses expired less than 30 days ago will still appear. After 30 days, they are automatically removed.
If your LDWF account is not found, you can go online to LouisianaOutdoors.com to update your account with your driver’s license or state ID number that is linked to your LA Wallet account:
- Go to LouisianaOutdoors.com
- Tap Login/Create Account.
- If you have ever owned a Louisiana hunting or fishing license or have taken an LDWF course, you already have an account and do not need to create one. Search for your account by Driver's License or State ID #, last 4 of your SSN, or your LDWF #, which is printed on your existing license or tags.
- On the next page, if you have an Edit button, tap it.
- Update your Driver’s License and State to match the ID that you have linked to LA Wallet. Include all 9 digits of your driver’s license or state ID number, including the 0’s at the beginning.
- Select Save. Once your LDWF account is updated, go back to LA Wallet and attempt to connect the account again.
If you get a message that your driver’s license number already exists in the LDWF system, you will need to contact the LDWF Support Team at (225)267-9996 so that they can assist you.
Please be advised: This will not include any registered or titled motorized vessels/watercraft, or non-motorized houseboats.
