IMPORTANT: The latest LA Wallet app version requires your device to have a screen lock (PIN, passcode, or Touch/Face ID) to access the app. It no longer requires setting up a 4-digit PIN.
Following our recent app update, LA Wallet now uses the same security lock used to unlock your device (pin, Face ID, fingerprint, or passcode). If you do not currently have a screen lock set up, one will need to be enable in your devices's settings to continue unlock and open the LA Wallet app.
How to set up Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode) on iPhone:
- Open Settings
- Tap Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode)
- Tap Turn Passcode On. For passcode options, tap Passcode Options.
- The most secure are Custom Alphanumeric and Custom Numeric codes.
- After setting your passcode, tap Set Up Face ID or Add a Fingerprint and follow prompts to scan your face or fingerprint.
How to set up Face & Fingerprint Unlock (or Fingerprint) on Android:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap Security & Privacy (or Lock screen & biometrics)
- Select Device Unlock
- Tap Screen Lock (or Fingerprint or Face Unlock)
- Create a PIN, then follow prompts to scan your fingerprint.
