Key Information

• Make sure your LA Wallet app is up to date to use this feature.
• Your license/ID must be linked to an existing LA Wallet account.
• Use your most recently issued license/ID information.

Instructions

1. Tap the Home tab and tap the Add License button.

2. Enter your information manually or tap Scan License Barcode at the top to scan the barcode on the back of the license/ID for best verification. (Note: Do NOT use the Scan tab at the bottom menu to add your license/ID; it only verifies, not adds it.)

3. Once all license/ID details are entered, scroll down and tap the Add License button at the bottom.

• Fill all boxes marked with a red asterisk (*).

4. Using your latest license/ID, you'll see an error message that lets you verify and link it to a new account by tapping the Start Verification button.

5. You must grant Camera Permission by tapping the Accept button.

6. You will need to perform a facial match to verify yourself by tapping Next to start and follow the instructions on the following screen.

• You should have good lighting, blink to show liveness, and keep your face centered in the circle during the facial match.
• Significant changes since the license/ID photo may cause difficulty in completing the face scan.

7. After a successful facial match, you must confirm unlinking your license/ID from the old account and linking it to the new one. To proceed, you should tap the Unlink button and confirm again.

8. After linking your license/ID to your LA Wallet account, you can access extra features like adding other cards or ordering a new license/ID.
