Key Information
- You must be logged into your LA Wallet account and know your current password to successfully use this option.
- If you can't log in, create a new account with your new email and add your license/ID there.
- The new email address must not be linked to another LA Wallet account.
- You can use this option to verify the email address linked to your currently logged into LA Wallet account.
Instructions
1. Tap the Menu tab, scroll under Account Information, and select the Change Email option.
2. Enter the New Email and Current Password then tap Change Email.
- The eye with a line through it icon is for hiding and unhiding what is in the password box.
- The Change Email button will be a light yellow if all boxes are not filled out correctly and the letters in the New Email box will be in red instead of black.
3. You will be asked for an Activation Code which will be sent to your new email address.
- We suggest using a secondary device (PC, tablet, another phone) to access the activation code email. This way you can keep the LA Wallet code entry screen pulled up on your device and not have to exit out of it in order to get the code which can sometimes make the screen revert back to the previous Change Email page.
4. You will be told that their email address has changed and will be logged out. You must log back in using the new email address and password.
5. A LA Wallet Email Changed Successfully! email will be sent to the old email address.
