• Remote verification lets you digitally confirm your credentials with a business while preventing fraud.
  • Examples may include the Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC), Louisiana’s Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS), and adult content websites. 

Instructions

1. After linking your driver’s license or state ID, tap the Share tab at the bottom of the LA Wallet app.

2. Ensure the Remote Verify tab is selected in the Share tab.

3. Enter the unique code provided by the Remote Verifier and click Submit.

• The Remote Verifier, a VerifyYou™ company, verifies specific data from the Presenter.

4. View the requesting business's name, verification reason, and requested data elements from the Remote Verifier.

• If the information is incorrect or you prefer not to share it, please select Deny.

• After you agree to send the information, tap Approve to finish remote identity verification. Only the requested data will be shared with the Remote Verifier.
