• If haven't enrolled on the Share mDL with TSA card yet, users can now complete enrollment and share their mDL directly from the Share tab.

Instructions

1. After linking a REAL ID compliant driver’s license or state ID, tap the Share tab at the bottom of the LA Wallet app. 

2. You will need to ensure the mDL tab is selected at the top of the Share License screen.

2. You will see a Get Started With mDL page that will explain what a mDL is and how it is stored on your device. Tap Next to proceed.

3. You must grant Camera Permission by tapping the Accept button.

4. You must grant Bluetooth Permission by tapping the Accept button.

5. You must perform a facial match by tapping Begin and following the on-screen instructions.

• Ensure you have good lighting, are blinking (to show liveness), and that your face is centered in the circle during the facial match process.
• If you have any big changes since your license/ID photo, you may struggle to successfully complete the face scan.

6. After a successful facial match, you can share your mobile driver's license or state ID with TSA at participating airports.

• Always pull down to refresh this page before you're about to share this with TSA to make sure you have an up to date mDL.
